Giorik has made its entry in another top-flight kitchen: that of award-winning chef Angelo Sabatelli. His expression of one of the most innovative cuisines in Puglia has earned Angelo Sabatelli a Michelin star, and he is set to receive a second. The philosophy on which his culinary craftsmanship has always been based sees a combination of tasting and tradition. To quote Danilo Giaffreda in his review: “Angelo Sabatelli’s cuisine is always inspired with the past of his homeland, Puglia. But he goes on to transcend it, with unusual results that always surprise. The traditional recipes become flavours that are new but, at the same time, reassuring[...] It is hard to contain all the energy served up, crammed with knowledge, flavours and colours. Every single dish is a celebration, a joy for the senses and enriching for the spirit.” It is further confirmation for Giorik that it will continue to work alongside the world’s very best chefs.
