Once again this year, the girls of the Imoco Volley team, known as the “Panthers of Conegliano” in the top Italian volleyball league, will be cheered on by Giorik, their Premium Sponsor, with the hashtag #siamotuttipantere.
Established in 2012, the Imoco team has already won the national championship, as well as getting great results in European competitions. In the upcoming 2017/2018 season, the Panthers, coached by Daniele Santarelli, will be setting their sights on the CEV (Champions League Volley) where they were runners-up last year, just narrowly beaten into second place.
To make sure they get the top spot this year, Imoco has added some new players to its roster. One of these is Athina Papafotiou, the 27-year-old Greek setter who comes from the French champion Mulhouse and who last season was named best setter on the whole championship circuit north of the Alps.
Come and join the crowds and cheer the Panthers on at the Palaverde in Villorba (TV), where the motto will be: #insiemepervincereancora.
